PONZA ISLAND
Ponza is surely the most famous of the Pontine Islands. Its coves, crystal clear waters and its half-moon shape have all made it famous throughout the entire Mediterranean sea.
The presence of archeological sites from the Roman age make it an alternative place to visit for both history and beach lovers.
The island is divided into three main parts: Ponza (harbour area), the English Camp and Le Forna.
Ponza can be reached from Formia all year round and in summertime from Anzio and San Felice Circeo too.
